Lenka Vítková (*1975) is a Czech visual artist who works primarily in painting, overlapping with the media of text, installation and moving image. Her work is characterized by fragmentation and reduction, as well as fragility and (sometimes subversively disrupted) lyricism. Lenka's approach involves maintaining a tension between abstraction and objecthood, a strong attention to colour, and the understanding of painting as a performance-related situation.
